Our sweet Gold Wing sister, Kathy Coleman, passed away last night in Charles’s arms at 11:25 pm.

We will forward arrangements to you as soon as they are finalized.

This is to let everyone know that Kathy will remain in the hospital. Her condition is very grave and is now on a morphine pump to control pain. Her family is with her and Charles is asking for no visitors to see Kathy. Please keep Kathy and Charles in your thoughts and prayers as well as the rest of their family. Tom and Ann

We had 16 enjoy Friendship Dinner Tuesday, thanks to Terry Couch for hosting.

Carl & LaRue Hallman are planning a ride Monday, Sept. 6 to Helen, GA. Anyone wanting to go should be at the Hot Spot on 123 in Easley at 10:00 am. A ride through the hills of Georgia will follow lunch in Helen.

Kathy Coleman is still in St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Please continue to pray for her and her family.

Update on Chapter E members

This is to let everyone know Kathy Coleman is in St. Francis Hospital Downtown, room 501. She will be going through test tomorrow. Also Charles Cannon had Cataract surgery today and is home doing fine. Please keep our sick in your thoughts and prayers as well as their families. Thanks, Tom and Ann

We had 15 Chapter E people at Ride for Kids today. We had 13 to ride up to Asheville with us early this morning and we had 10 go for a ride after the program was over.

Terry Couch and Carolyn Richardson invite all to join them for Friendship Dinner Tuesday night at the Peach Blossom Rest.’ 910 Hospitality Dr. in Spartanburg. We will meet at Dill’s Commons and leave from there at 5:30pm. Driving directions per the Interstate: Take I-85 North to Business I-85 North, continue on Business I-85 North (signs for I-85 Loop/Spartanburg 5.6 miles) to exit 6, merge onto Frontage Rd./Milliken Rd., go under the bridge and immediately turn right, keep right to merge onto SC Hwy.9/Boiling Springs Rd. to go over the bridge, take next exit right just over bridge, stay right going back under the bridge, Peach Blossom will be on the right just past bridge.

Mike and Elaine Bouvier said the doctors has told them that their grandson, Michael, tumor was benige and that they are still waiting on some other test but hopefully he is going to be fine. Please continue to pray for our sick and their families.

Chapter E Information Line for Thursday August 26, 2010

Hello and welcome to the Chapter E Information Line for Thursday August 26, 2010.

We had 26 enjoy Friendship Dinner Tuesday night, thanks to Keith & Kim for hosting.

The Ride For Kids is this Sunday in Asheville. We will be leaving Hardee’s in Travelers Rest at 7:00 am. The weather sounds like it is going to cooperate and we should have a great ride.

Mike and Elaine Bouvier’s grandson had his surgery yesterday. He will probably be going home today or tomorrow. Please continue to remember this family in your thoughts and prayers.

Steve Lavigne has planned a 2 day ride for the middle of October and will be staying overnight in Hillsville, Va. This will be a great time to see the leaves in full color. Call Steve if you are interested in going (864-963-2991). We will be e-mailing a flyer out to you later.

We had 6 people go to Chapter U last night for their 1st meeting at Ye Old Sandwich Shop in Seneca. The food was very good and the hospitality was even better.
