Chapter-E News, December 1, 2018

Good afternoon Chapter E family & friends!

Lyle Watson is hosting this week’s Visitors Dinner, so please show your support and enjoy some good food with us! After we’ve placed our orders at 6:00pm, we will start the Team Planning Meeting, which is open to all Ch.E participants!
To be discussed this month:
-ALL major events for our Chapter will be put on the 2019 calendar to
turn into the SC District before January
-Visitation Double Points Get-Togethers: What two months do we want?
-SC Rally Chapter assignments: Please provide two choices each
(please see previous email we just sent out)
When: Tuesday, Dec 4th – Starts as soon as our orders are placed at 6:00p
Where: Sticky Fingers Ribhouse, 3 Market Point Dr, Greenville, SC 29607
**Please bring any dates you are aware of that you’ll be unavailable, such as vacations or weddings already planned. We try hard to plan the extra fun stuff when we hope to have the most participation. For example, we hope to attend Patriot’s Point this spring, but wouldn’t want to do it on a weekend that we know that one of our military families will be out of town, hint, hint. I hope this helps!
Kindest Regards,
Rhonda (and Don) Weed, Chapter Directors

We had visitors from NJ and NC with a total of seven bikes and two trikes on the ride. On Sunday, we enjoyed the 50th Anniversary of BULLITT, which had a great commentary beforehand with lots of unknown facts about the movie and Steve McQueen himself. Another great Visitor’s Dinner was enjoyed by nineteen on Tuesday. We had two non-GWRRA visitors and friends from Ch.F of Easley, and Ch.A of Anderson, who were kind enough to bring us the Hot Potato. Our Chapter MEC David Thompson was involved in an accident on his motorcycle very shortly after leaving this dinner.
